Mortgage interest rates from some lenders in Tennessee dropped below 4% for a 30 year loan in the past week! What a great time to buy! Current interest rates are at the lowest they have been in the past 20 years. Looking back at the rates during that time period, you can see that ten years ago, buyers would have paid approximately 7% on their 30 year fixed rate loan. At an open house I was holding, one set of buyers spent quite a few minutes out on the back deck enjoying the privacy of the back of the property. As I stepped outside to talk to them about how quiet and relaxing the view was and how you could sit out there and enjoy mother nature, two bunnies scampered through the yard. I couldn't help but smile at the unexpected help. The only thing better might have been a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end...that would have sold the house for sure!

During a news conference, representatives from Opry Mills revealed that the mall will be set to reopen in the Spring of 2012. The popular Nashville shopping center has been closed since the May 2010 flood, with only Bass Pro Shops opening so far.

Juliet has lost two young girls (Savannah Swandal from cancer and Ava Bright from complications after tonsil surgery), causing our community to unite and try to lift up the families of these girls.
