Use social media to sell your house!
We are in the age of social media. Over 800 million people use facebook. Not to mention Twitter, Linked In, you tube and dozens of others. Retailers and manufacturers are using social media to advertise and sell their product, so why not use it to sell your house?
If your Realtor is not using websites like facebook and twitter to advertise your house and their business, you may want to think twice about using that agent. Social media is used by every demographic, from teenagers to senior citizens. So, it is a great way to get the word out about your home being for sale to a wide group of people. Realtors can also connect with other Realtors via social media, allowing them to better communicate with each other about what their clients are buying and selling.
Just a few ideas of things your Realtor can do:
· Post a virtual tour of your home on You Tube
· Post pictures of your home on their business facebook page
· Tweet about Open Houses and price reductions
· Invite other agents to come tour your home via facebook, twitter or Linked In
These are just a few things that could be done. The best thing about social media is that you can be creative. Use these websites in whatever way your imagination can dream up. Selling a home in today’s market requires thinking outside the box! We have been using social media in our business for a while now, and we have definitely seen the benefits.
