NEW CITY, N.Y. (Nov. 6) - Prudential Rand Realty and Prudential Rand Commercial Services today announced a merger with Kahn Inc., Realtors of Newburgh. Kahn has operated a real estate business in Newburgh for more than 40 years. As part of the transaction, Prudential Rand will vacate its location in New Windsor and move into the 4,700-square-foot Kahn Realtors office at 100 Stony Brook Court off Route 17K in Newburgh. Beverly Peryea will manage the combined residential office that will have 50 agents, including Kahn's former staff of 12. Glen Kelman President and CEO of Redfin Corporation said this morning on The Today Show what you need to do to sell your home. He says the real estate agents give you the wrong information. He said there is data to support this and his advice included: 1. Don't overprice your home Duh! 2. Debut your home on Friday. He says most people start looking on Friday and most use the Internet.
