Walton County Trend Report shows that we are way up in sales in this county. Walton County is located in the Panhandle of Florida beginnning at the Alabama Line down to the Gulf of Mexico.
New Home sales were up 15 % in the month of May over last year and for the year to date figure new home sales are up a whopping 28% over 2012 figures.
Resale of Single Family Homes were up 32% over May of last year and for the year up 13%.

What is going on in Walton County Florida?
Let's take a look. May experienced a jump in Single Family Homes sales. Up 19% for the year and 14% over May of 2011. Lower interest rates and affordable homes are making a difference.
Condo and Townhome sales were only up slighty by 9.28% for the month of May and down overall slightly for the year by -.44%. Condo and townhome loans are more difficult to obtain. The report in Walton County just came out and for the month of November sales are up 5.41% in the Single Family Homes category and up 16.25% year to date overall.
Sales of condos and townhomes were slightly down for the month of November, but still way up at 33.55% for the year.
Residentail Lots in Walton County are selling and were up 10.19% for the month aand up 18.04% for the year.
The good news is that the number of Foreclosures filed fell 34.98% and the number of new filings or Lis Pendens fell 49.29%.

I have lost my MOJO. Not in real estate, but volunteerism. I have been a student and champion of my chosen field since 2003. I have fully dedicated myself to helping others, volunteering for projects, special events, fund raising, you name it. I am just tired. I can't remember how many times I have had to rearrange a client appointment just to make time for a meeting or other event. Every MLS has a map that divides the larger geographical area into Main and SubAreas for means of searching for a property. Let's take Area 17 where I live which is in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and more commonly known as areas like Dune Allen, Gulf Place, Blue Mountain Beach, and Grayton Beach. Residential Lots are down 25% for the month of January.

Canadian dollars are currently trade very close a what we call "pair" meaning 1 US dollar for 1 Canadian dollar. This is great news for you. On our last forex updated , the CAD was trading around 0.9992.
