Thank you Preston for such a GREAT and VERY INFORMATIVE BLOG on "Salt Water Pools" and their definite advantages over having a regular chlorine pool. I myself have a salt water pool and wouldn't ever think of having anything else! It's a constant crystal clear blue water and far less maintenance than with the chlorine pools I've had in the past. Three former Navy SEALS swam more than 12 miles across Lake Norman Friday from Queens Landing to the Rusty Rudder. The swim raised awareness for Operation Restored Warrior, a program in Colorado that works with veteran suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It's estimated that 22 service members commit suicide each day!
