I ran into a bit of a snag today. I went to show condos in an oceanfront building that has a "lockbox bar" in the garage area. There were no less than 15 lockboxes on this bar. I have instructions for 2 listings in this building. The first lockbox was easy to find as the listing agent had taped his business card on the back of the box. The second lockbox not so much. 20+ years ago when I got into the real estate business FAX machines were a critical part of the normal real estate business machine inventory. But as I said, that was over 20 years ago! When I started in real estate we still used MLS books and very few people actually had cell phones. It used to be that you had to "go into the office" when you were writing an offer.
