Zillow and Zestimates, why as a Realtor, I love them! I know, you guys are all thinking..... Lance has gone off the deep end, he has lost all his marbles, "Nurse Ratched" quick, we have one loose in the halls.... LOL, I love a Zestimate because when my phone rings, and the person on the other end starts talking about Zillow, I know I have a real lead, I have a buyer/seller on the other end that has taken the time to search the Internet. Most of you have known about Zillow's acquisition of Postlets 5 years ago, this is not what we are here to talk about today(that was actually a good thing) What I am here to discuss with you, is what Zillow is doing with your leads generated by Postlets, more so the QR code generator within Postlets. Personally I have used Postlets for a very long time, and all went pretty smooth prior to this, that all changed last week with the new Forwarding of the Poslets to Zillow Rental Manager. In this day and age, with all the MLS feeds Zillow lost, and our own MLS leaving up it each broker to indepently report it to Zillow, Trulia and some of the others, the last thing you are getting from them, is an accurate and up to date picture of what is for sale. And trust me, if your dream home comes on the market, and it is priced correctly, its gone by the time you find it on 3rd party sites like them.
