I have taken a break or two from ActiveRain... and when I return, I always check in on the challenges! I found this one today- just in time! Thank you Margaret Rome Baltimore 410-530-2400 and Ray Henson !

1. We all go on vacation to get away from it all and have a great time, but I want to know, what vacation day was your worst?
My worst vacation day was when we were visiting friends in New Orleans and my husband fell and broke some ribs. We were unable to fly home, so I had to drive us all the way … (12 comments)

active rain blogging: Turns Out It Was Hard for Me to Blog on Vacation

We had a great road-trip and are home tonite-- I wrote a blog before I left asking if fellow ActiveRainers blogged on vacation... most said they did, with NO pressure if it didn't happen.
I found that it was very challenging to find the time to blog-- but also most family and friends didn't have wireless-- so the computer would stay in the car. I really missed my blogging therapy and the connection I feel when I'm on ActiveRain. I was with my Colorado family, but I sure missed my ActiveRain family.
