galveston: This could be you shark fishing but instead we are all blogging:) - 01/27/12 01:48 AM

I have had the oddest late summer, crazy winter of a Realtor/ moms lifetime. My blogs have suffered but one might be able to argue it was for a good cause. The cause being my son and how one simple viral video, of something he does everyday can change a families life.
In late August I was actually cleaning one of my vacation rentals (I had just fired a maid for not doing so hot) when my husband and son called to say they had caught a shark and were very hot. It was super hot outside but … (4 comments)

galveston: WARNING- BE AWARE OF A CONTRACTOR NAMED RANDY WITH CRAFTMASTER REMODELING WHO IS WORKING IN GALVESTON - 04/17/10 02:47 PM
Randy with Craftmaster contacted me a few months ago to ask for handyman work.  I am a property manager so I did have a few jobs if he could submit a resume and prove he was a Galveston certified contractor, which he said was no issue.  After talking with him several times this week and explaining I would be in touch as soon as a tenant contacted me he called after 7 PM on a Saturday night and continued to call until I finally went to call him back to explain my property management office hours in a nice manner.  He … (4 comments)

Here is the link to a story featured today in The Galveston County Daily News, the oldest newspaper in Texas.  I encourage you all to read about the Presidents reactions in the above link.  Very interesting.
We have received a visit fro Presidents Bush and Clinton.  They will now kick start the effort to raise money for the damage that Hurricane Ike caused to our Island.  THEY ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP AND THE HELP OF OUR NATION.  THE SAME HLEP MANY GAVE TO THE VICITIMS OF KATRINA.

galveston: Galveston Island Trolley. - 02/13/08 01:28 AM

The Galveston Island Trolley has been a staple of our city since I was a child.  I fondly remember my rides on this historical landmark.  The Trolley travels through UTMB (which is located on the East end of the island), the Strand, and to the North side of Galveston.  The Trolley become part of Galveston's culture in 1988.  It is operated by Galveston's transit service.  For more information please visit the Galveston Trolley, or call using the information I provided below.  To find out more about Galveston please visit http://www.galveston4sale.com.

galveston: Galveston officially has "the sweet spot". - 02/11/08 12:17 PM
One of Galveston islands favorite treats is the Old Fashioned Candy Factory.  Any sweet lover will find this stop a necessity  when they visit our island.  Located in the historical Strand District, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is wonderful.  Many cruise patrons, tourists, and especially the locals frequent this adorable family must.  My personal favorite is the hot fudge sundae.  In addition to custom made sundaes you can choose from to many candy varieties to count.  One side of the "sweet spot" is devoted to ice cream varieties and flavors while the other is strictly for the candy and chocolate connoisseur.  As a child … (0 comments)

galveston: Life can be so fun when you let it. - 02/11/08 09:58 AM
I had the pleasure of taking a few moments just to enjoy the weekend.  Here is a photo from our weekend fun in Galveston and Clear Lake.
This particular picture was taken while enjoying Crawfish at Fish Tails on 25th and Seawall.  Our kids love the view and we enjoy the food.  There is nothing better then having a nice afternoon, watching the ocean waves, and enjoying a few pounds of Crawfish.  You should try it.  Learn more about Galveston, Texas by visiting www.Galveston4sale.com.
