We Are Just On Different Planets

Tuesday night was a true learning experience as I realized I was just on a different planet.

Let me give some context to this story and set the stage before I explain. For quite some time a small advocacy group is on the attack; their mission “Rent Control in Long Beach.”

Recently this year, the City Attorney’s office had no choice but to clear the submitted proposed initiative, titled the Long Beach Rent Control Ordinance. That’s not to say the City Attorney’s office backs the initiative or trust its legality. All that means is the advocacy group … (23 comments)

Long Beach, CA. Buy or Sell a Home- “The Real Estate Table”

I have a funny feeling that asking 10 Realtors sitting in a room if they negotiated well all 10 Realtors would say they negotiate well. I think it is safe to say most professionals feel they have accomplished qualities in negotiations. Besides a skilled negotiator it is best to be charming, have a professional appearance, be your best, look confident and be strong when at the table negotiating.

Not only does it take skill to be a strong negotiator, there are some fundamental things that need … (0 comments)

Long Beach, CA~ Renting a Home; Even In a Competitive Rental Market!

Depending on where you live, the rental market can be extremely competitive, and rightfully so, there’s many displaced homeowners competing with the new needy renter just staring out today. But even in the toughest market you can gain the advantage necessary to find the perfect rental to call your very own home.

The new restaurant “Simmzy’s” is officially the best replacement ever, and I love eating, drinking, and socializing at Simmzy’s in Long Beach on 2nd street. Long Beach is very lucky to have such a superlative restaurant come in to town.
In with the new & out with the old as it’s said. I live in Long Beach and love it. My office is on 2nd in Belmont Shore, and when I heard (Shore House Café) a local favorite 24 hour restaurant on 2nd street was closing its doors, I was sad

Buy a home or rent a home, Long Beach, CA!

Tough question, great real-estate market!

The big decision many Americans are asking themselves is not so surprising; "FIXED"interest rates are at historical lows, and the housing market finally stopped correcting”! That’s right; the real-estate housing market is moving up not down!
Testing the housing market still needs some careful consideration, just because the housing market is moving –up, doesn’t mean jumping in the housing market is right for you. Before jumping into owning a home, there are some … (6 comments)
