By now you are probably familiar with the FHA 203k Rehab loan but did you know that Fannie Mae offers a rehab loan which may allow for more flexibility? The Fannie Mae HomeStyle Rehab loan allows for installation/repair of luxury items that are not allowed un the FHA 203k. Also you can have High Balance Loans – you are not limited to $417,000.00. It is important to assess all options when looking for a rehab loan. You have multiple options. This can be for purchasing a new home, or doing a refinance of your current residence.
