'Doomsday,' July 9, 2012 Scambusters is a very reputable site.  We hear The Sky is Falling stories all the time, and I am a sceptic.  But if an alarmist story seems like it may have some validity, I will usually check it out on Scambusters (not Snopes, which I have found to be quite unreliable). ...
