2012 was a very strong year of homes sales with an overall increase of 7.75%. Additionally, the busiest month of the year was July with 86 total closed sales. This is the highest number of homes sold during the month of July since 2007. These strong home sales numbers are being driven by a combination of a healthy local market and record low interest rates as well as the increased demand in the market from those who have been waiting to purchase a home.
