A few weeks ago Holly Springs NC was hit hard by the tornadoes along with so many other areas in the country. As I was driving on Holly Springs Road from my daughter's house thinking about how our lives can change in a minute; thankful they were safe and that most of the damage in the area was to property and not people, I had to turn around and take a picture of this... The sign on the truck said "TEXTING....while tornedo". I do hope the passengers are safe.

Dutchman Downs Subdivision is in Wake County NC . We are out in the county, although surrounded by Cary - Apex - Holly Springs NC ! No doubt we'll be annexed into Cary NC the next couple of years. In the meantime we can enjoy a couple of acres, low taxes and bon fires! Many Dutchman Downs residents have banned together with a STOP CARY campaign. I hope it has good results! Thought I'd share some pictures from Dutchman Downs - Raleigh NC address; Wake County NC location; surrounded by Cary NC city limits. UGH.
Sienna was born a couple of weeks early but everything is fine! I think she's the most beautiful baby I've ever seen (of course that's because she's ours)! My daughter and my favorite son-in-law are the best! And this new grandma is thrilled. Now I understand what my friends have said about how wonderful grand children are.
