I have been trying for several years to get together with Teresa from Eastcote Lane in Wayne to introduce her store to a wider audience. I know several local decorators use her as a resource and she has a great eye and a talent transforming older pieces of furniture into something you must have.

Not every sculpture I saw on My Camino de Santiago de Compostela related to the Camino. But as I walked over this bridge in Ponte de Lima towards my alberge/hostel I saw this sculpture of Saint James and the wish for a good camino.
Bom Camino! Something you heard often whilst walking from other pilgrims and also from people in the villages and towns you walked through.
Bom indicates this sculpture was in Portugal. When you cross into Spain the Bom changed to Buen.

Real estate is hot, it is a sellers market, we have all heard the reports, there is a lack of inventory and buyers are desperate to find homes. So why isn't your Tredyffrin Easttown, T/E, or Main Line home selling in this market?

Moving to Tredyffrin Easttown or T/E as locals call it.
We moved to this area almost 30 years ago and what attracted us was the school district. With three young boys we were looking for somewhere that we felt would provide a good education. Whilst that is a subjective thing to measure, the last few years have seen Niche rank Tredyffrin Easttown School District highly.

Buying a fixer upper.
With all the shows on TV showing homes being flipped for cash, many buyers when they first start looking for homes are asking for fixer uppers. I mean how hard can it be with all these shows on TV and everyone making money. Forget about the drama in those shows of the problems unearthed during rehab, the delays incurred waiting for permits and the fact the show is paying the wages of those featured, so those costs are not included.

Well my big adventure starts this week. Tuesday I leave for Portugal, flying in to Lisbon Airport on Wednesday late morning barring any delays. Then a trip into town on the Metro, a quick visit to a sports shop and then onto the Se de Lisboa to collect my Camino de Santiago credentials/passport which will allow me to stay in the Albergues/Hostels and obtain a Pilgrim meal from restaurants along the way at discounted rates. Then Wedensdaynight I will be staying at an AirBNB in Lisbon close to the Se de Lisboa where I will begin my trek on Thursday morning.

How long will it take to sell my Tredyffrin Easttown or Main Line home?" is an often asked question at a listing presentation. We can answer it, using all the flashy statistics at our fingers, days on market, price points etc. But, is it the right question to ask?
A better question might be "How quickly will you have my Tredyffrin Easttown or Main Line home on the market?"
There are many agents you can use, different brokers, teams, etc. How do you know which is the right one?

It only takes one buyer!
We often use this expression when you have a listing that doesn't sell for one reason or another and everything is right with the price and the presentation. Our job then is to reassure the seller not to panic and understand that you need to find that buyer and sometimes it takes a little longer than others.

In recent weeks there has been lots of talk about mental health and suicide as people realize even celebrities deal with these issues. A local charity begun by two parents following their son's suicide tries to reach out to students on campuses around the Main Line and the Philadelphia area.
