I remember my Montana State college roommates....they were all in engineering of some sort...mechanical, electrical, structural...something engineering. I was not smart enough for that. But I do live in a city where they also come from with an incredible engineering school...Georgia Tech! But little did I know that..... NCR Corporation announced on January 13 that they will build a new corporate headquarters on a 4 acre site in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, at 8th and Spring Streets. Our photo below indicates the site, across the street from Plaza Midtown and right next to SQ5 which is under construction.

So where are people moving to? Especially one-way moves? It would appear that one study would indicate that Atlanta Is the Top Destination for Moving! In a story that appeared in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Penske Truck Rental said that Atlanta had continued as the Number One destination for U.S. movers in their annual report. Penske created this list based on requests for one-way moves in 2013. Having just been in and around Atlanta today conducting real estate business, there is that seven-letter word that comes to mind...traffic. It's pretty hard to escape it in Atlanta. A major metropolitan area that has seen absolutely NO transit construction in some 13 years, and hardy any highway construction to help with our long standing love affair with our automobiles.
