Tulips in the Rain at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Cold rainy days in the winter bring wishes for the colorful days of spring that we are anxious to enjoy. All of us in Maryland will be watching for the tulips to bloom and the spring showers that will make the flowers grow. Those of us that live in the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg appreciate the presence of many lovely gardens and the flowers that will brighten our days.
