This previous week, mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac announced that lenders will be receiving an increase in charges that could increase the cost on commercial real estate loans. On a good note though, the charges that are set to take place will actually be effective as of March 2014. As of right now though, this is another increase in the already highly rated mortgage rates that have helped and hurt the Monroe real estate market this previous year.
