- Luxury Condo Sales in Scottsdale and Phoenix – March 2016 -The luxury condo market in Scottsdale and Phoenix had an average sales month. What was exciting is that we ended the month with an additional four units pending sale.
The purpose of this report is to review the performance of the local luxury condo market. We are including all units that are listed for over $1 million.

ACTIVE LISTINGS AT THE END OF MARCHInventory was down two unit to 45 by the end of March. Of the 45, 28 were in Scottsdale and 17 were in Phoenix.

We saw a dip in the number of active listings by the end of the month, from 36 to 30. Of these, 19 were in Scottsdale and the remaining 11 were in Phoenix.

The number of active listings stayed level, coming down one unit from the end of March. Of the 36 luxury condos for sale, 26 were located in Scottsdale and the remaining 10 were located in Phoenix.

Here are the sales figures for the luxury condo market in Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe for February 2010. For the purposes of this analysis, I am defining the luxury condo market as condos with list prices in excess of $1 million.
There was continued activity during the month of February, following a decent month of luxury condo sales in January. At the end of the month, there were 75 units on the market. Forty of the units, or 53%, were located in Scottsdale. Phoenix came in with thirty-one units or 41% of the market. The remaining 4 units, or 5% were in located … (0 comments)

2009 was a difficult year for the luxury condo market in Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe, AZ. For the purposes of this analysis, the luxury condo market is being defined as condos on the market with asking prices in excess of $1,000,000. 2009 condo sales volume was way off of 2008 levels in Scottsdale and Phoenix. And in Tempe, not even one luxury condo unit sold in 2009.
