Thinking back on my first home purchase. I was not a Realtor. My close friend was going through a divorce. She was going to sell her cute row house close to both our parents. I was just 1973 I was married with a gorgeous two year old daughter Johanna. The house was $21,000 both our parents helped us with the $1,000 each and we had some money saved.
