I was thinking about my Real Estate business today and I asked myself this question. What will it be like for a Realtor 10 years from now? Things are changing so fast in our industry it makes me wonder if it will even be worth the effort of working in Real Estate. I wonder if people 30 years ago asked the same question. I have to believe that the business will still be a personal business. Even though people begin on the Internet, they still end up working with one of us one on one in the end. What if ever week you had 3+ warm leads to follow up on. What if they were buyer leads? This has been my experience with Market Leader thus far. The people coming to the site they created for me do not have to put in their phone numbers but almost all of them do now. It is simply amazing. My question for you is this? This week in Market Leader seemed a bit slower than others, but that was because I only received 5 leads to follow up on. It is very interesting to hear myself say that, some people don't have any leads to follow up on and now I have 5 for this week. It seems that Market Leader is starting to spoil me with all of the lead generation that they are producing. This week has been another successful week using Market Leader lead generation. Sometimes it seems like I am getting more leads than I can handle (not that I am complaining). If that isn't enough, at first I was only getting e-mail addresses from prospects and it seems that now they are all adding their phone number. Guess they want me to call them, imagine that. This post will be short and to the point. I converted my first Market Leader lead to an actual buyer and it is a good one. For those of you who are looking to generate activity via the Internet, you can't go wrong with Market Leader. I know it seems pricey, but think of it this way. This week has been another amazing week with Market Leader. I have a ton of traffic on my site and this week alone I had 95 visits from people in the area. Out of those I received about 14 new leads. Out of those I have 1 who is interested in purchasing. They even sent me their actual phone number. I have had some good luck getting people to respond to my e-mails, so that is a plus. All, I have been with Growth Leader a 2 weeks now and it has been pretty interesting. I have had 15 buyer inquiries so far. At least they were requesting listings to view. I am planning on attending the class this week so that I can better utilize their services. This week has been the busiest yet for me. Many of my Real Estate deals are a few months out and although I am thankful to have deals to talk about, it is important to have income coming in the meantime. I made it back from my hunting trip mostly alive, all except this horrible staph infection that I have. I decided against posting any pictures of it as it would be an appetite killer. The good news is, the doctor says that I am going to live. The bad news is that if I would have waited a few more days, I could have a much bigger problem like the potential of the infection getting into my blood stream and proving to be lethal. I was wondering if I could get everyones input on the validity or usefulness of the ads on the right hand side of the page? Are they really worth investing in? Have you received any benefit from them or found any good deals? I am always suspicious of any lead generating tool or anything like that. How many have tried some of the lead generation only to find that it was a huge waste of money. I confess, I have tried and failed.
