The Real Estate sales report for Mason County, Wa. for the period of Sept 16 through Sept 30 2009 reports 68 Total Closed Sales in the amount of $13,632,950. (If you have been reading my statistical reports, you have, therefore, noticed a most excellent improvement from the first two weeks in Sept of 09.) Yea!
 
Area A, (Shelton, Arcadia, Kamilche) once again leads the County sales count with 27 closed sales in the amount of $4,960,400 followed by Area C, (Belfair, Allyn, Grapeview), with 17 sales totaling $3,690,650. Area D, (Hoodsport/Union area) posted 14 sales closed in the amount of … (1 comments)

I have not posted a Mason County Home Sale Market Report for several weeks but have heard from some in the Community and elsewhere asking "when am I going to post the real estate numbers". Gee, I didn't think anyone really paid attention to Market Reports. I was wrong. So here is my report. And thanks for reading.

market statistics: Mason County/Hood Canal Washington Real Estate Market Report - 08/20/09 09:35 AM

Mason County Real Estate Market Report for July16 through July 31 2009 reports 70 Total Closed Sales in the amount of $12,993,555. The Shelton district lead the sales count with 24 closed sales in the amount of $4,117,221 followed by the north end of the county with 23 sales totaling $4,512,484. On the Westside of the County in Hoodsport and Union 12 sales closed in the  amount of $2,452,900. Hartstene/Agate area posted 11 closed sales in the amount of $1,910,950.

I have not posted on the  Mason County Real Estate Statistics on the AR platform for awhile. So I thought let's do it today. I would like to enlighten the AR community to what is going on in our "neck of the woods". For those who have no clue as to  "where the heck" Mason County, Washington is, look no further.
Briefly: Were are located on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest corner of Washington State.

market statistics: Mason County, Washington experiencing Elevated "Months Of Inventory" but Pendings are Up. - 12/22/08 09:17 AM
Currently Mason County is experiencing Elevated "Months of Inventory".
At the end of November 2008 our Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales was - 31 months.
Based on Pending Sales it was 19.4.
In November of 2007 we were at 15.4 and 19.6 respectively.
Homes on the market during November 2008 numbered 776, compared to the 802 on the market in November 2007. A difference of -3.2%.
Number of Homes that Sold in the month of November 2008 was 25. November 2007 posted 52 Sold's. That is a -51.9% change from a year ago.

                 To date Mason County has had 1,222 total real estate sales. There were 1,152 sales to Washington State Buyers. Locals made up the largest percentage of buyers numbering 747 all from zip code 985xx (Mason County). Followed by 162 buyers from zip code 983xx (Jefferson County).  The third largest percentage of buyers came from King County, 980xx, a total of 90 buyers.
             Seattle area buyers from zip code 981xx accounted for 68 sales. There were 48 sales to buyers from Tacoma, 984xx and 18 buyers from 982xx, Snohomish County. The other19 sales were spread out through most of the … (1 comments)

market statistics: Mason County 2nd half of September 08 Stats - 10/17/08 12:01 PM
Real Estate closed sales were slightly up during the last two weeks of September 08. The total Mason County real estate sold count was 79 properties amounting to $13,810,832. Of the 79 sold 38 of the sales were single family resales on less than 5 acres. Two single family resale homes on more than 5 acres sold and 4 new single family homes sold.
The Multi-family group posted 1 sale and there were 3 commercial/industrial sales. In the Land categories, 12 - land with mobiles sold, 13 - platted lots, 3 - short plats and 3 - unplatted pieces were recorded.
