We've been personally using E-Konomy Pools Service and Supplies since we bought our new home and are the happy owners of a large, sparkling pool. During our ownership, the pump has broken, the surrounding deck has been resurfaced, we've gone through the monsoon season, and more. Our pool has never been cloudy, dirty, stinky -- less than swimable -- once. We attribute this to the care and concern of our pool technician, part of E-Konomy Pools. Introducing Marana Chamber Member: E-Konomy Pool Service & Supply We've been using E-Konomy Pool Service & Supply here in Tucson for as long as we've been pool owners. Our equipment and pool showed a great deal of deferred maintenance upon purchase, and through the months, are slowly repairing and replacing. The cool deck had deteriorated badly, and when replaced by another company, well -- a lot of stuff got into the pool. marana chamber: A Lesson in Perception

A Lesson in Perception I've been mulling over a small incident of months past and decided today to write about it. I guess I'd call it a lesson in PERCEPTION.
I belong to the Marana Chamber, and several months into my membership, decided to start attending the Monthly Networking Breakfast to meet other professionals in my area. The breakfast starts at 7 and the networking starts at 7:45 and continues to 9. Folks show up at all times. After the initial business and sponsorship talks, each Chamber member stands for a 30 second introduction about themselves and their business or non-profit.
I had the pleasure to meet Leeann Herriman of the Coffee News in Marana, AZ this year at one of the many events affiliated with the Marana Chamber of Commerce. (That's her on the far left) Leeann is in charge of the Marana division of The Coffee News. The Coffee News is a weekly publication delivered to local businesses in a geographic area. According to studies, folks actually "absorb" more advertising messages before or during eating! You'll find The Coffee News at many local eateries to take full advantage of this fact.
