Lately, it seems the best deals are NOT seller distressed homes such as foreclosures or short sales. I suggest you have your Realtor check all available property and examine carefully your total cost to repair and renovate over the next three-five years. foreclosed: BONITA SPRINGS FORECLOSED PROPERTY VALUES - 10/10/13 10:32 PM
Over the past few years I have sold 97 foreclosed properties as a buyer's agent. The deals were great. But now that has changed, many of the foreclosed properties being listed now (REO) are priced as high per square foot as non-distressed move in ready property. If you as a buyer are only considering foreclosed homes and purchasing from that list you very well may be paying more than you should.
