Looking for a way to get the other agents more enthusiastic about showing your home? Well here at Coldwell Banker of Yorktown one way to do this is to list your home with a higher commission that other homes are listed for. You may say well that will cost me more money!!! But at Coldwell Banker Of Yorktown based on the chart below we average almost a 4% higher sale price than the Market Average. Are you still listing your home with that agent that gives you the highest price??? I have seen a lot of homes coming on the market with prices that seen to be just plucked out of the air.Some agent are getting so desperate to get listings they are just making up prices to make the owners list with them. For a while agents here were pricing things at a reasonable range, but recently they are getting back to BUYING THE LISTING!!! I guess some people just don't get it!! Showed Homes to 5 different buyers this week!!!! I have been showing homes to a lot of buyers in the past 5 weeks. Make 6 offers. Got 3 accepted. 2 of them are buying homes that we saw the first day out. Showed a foreclosure to a buyer today and they put in an offer. Buyers are either coming in with pre-approvals are will made the call right from my office. Buyers are finally realizing that; NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!!!!
