florida: The Golf Course at Fox Hollow Country Club in Trinity-Florida - 08/28/11 02:12 AM

The golf course at Fox Hollow in Trinity, Florida is beautiful and always has lots of wildlife (no, not the golfers) wandering around it. We were at the clubhouse, Windows on the Green, for a meeting when all these Sandhill Cranes flew in; they were having quite an argument - probably about which couple the golf course belonged to. I took my Hyundai Entourage in for service yesterday. (The Entourage is hands down the best mini-van ever built- of course, they stopped making them a year or so ago).
While waiting for someone to notice me; I checked out the chorus line of new cars. I wandered over to the first one on line: Took a peek at the sticker: WHOA -major sticker shock-it was $65,000; I rubbed my eyes, looked again: yep, it was still $65K. The West Pasco Historical Society, Inc. has been a part of New Port Richey history for a long time.The structure was built in 1916 and was the original Old Seven Springs School. A two-room schoolhouse which was used from 1916 to 1922 where one teacher taught all 6 grades. It became a residence in 1925. New Port Richey-Florida - We love to watch the hawks in our backyard eating the toads (we have thousands of toads) and the hawks are voracious eaters. One day last spring, while we were getting new sod put in, the hawks were having a feast day because the poor toads had no place to hide. We watched this guy and he just kept a (hawk) eye out for any movement and then stomped on it.
