advertising: Using night scenes for advertising - 03/10/07 03:19 PM
Are there occasions when you use night photos for advertising your listings? I recently took this night shot for an agent who has a listing overlooking Eugene, OR. In situations like these, I can see how a night shot would be beneficial. When is it important for you to do so? I have seen a couple other night shots used for advertising, but not many.

I've been pondering the thought of advertising on radio. Anyone do this with success or have stories to share from it?
If you do advertise on radio- is there a certain type that works better for you- ie. a news station vs. a country station.

Has anyone had people contact them because of advertising they saw on your car? Just wondering what the statistics are for this. I'm thinking of adding my virtual tour contact info to the business car and am wondering which method to use (don't think I'll use magnets- tried before and they didn't stay on well or look as nice as I wanted them to).

When you're spending the advertising money, it's nice to know how many consumers are really taking the time to look at your advertising. Television has its rating system so they can know which shows are being watched and I'm sure their commercial advertisers keep up on that end of the business. On each of our virtual tours there is also a page where you can log in to see how many hits your virtual tours are receiving each month- it's nice to know how many people are checking out your listing!
