In the Gainesville Virginia and Prince William County area there are a multitude of things to do from hands on experience with farm animals or tracing and participating in the local history here. Actually it is not so local since most of the world has heard about the Civil War battles at Manassas Battlefield. This is just a short distance from the Heritage Hunt Active Adult Country Club.
