Celebrating The Last Days of Summer As the vestiges of the San Diego Summer disappear and the cooler temps of Fall began to reveal themselves, the summer seems to be saying farewell for another year. But the Pacific Ocean never says goodbye to those that love the waves. The only thing that changes is what the surfers wear. The long short is traded in for the wet suit and the life of the surfer just continues on, oblivious to the season.

San Diego Bay is being visited by a gray whale that seems to be enjoying having the waters of the Bay all to himself. This time of year as gray whales migrate between Alaska and Baja,California, it is certainly not unusual to find gray whales visiting our coast.
