Easter - a symbol of new Beginnings.

Easter, a time of celebration for the Christians. Spring break for the kids. Shopping sales and discounts for those with credit actually left on their credit cards. But to some, it is the time of new beginnings. A symbol of a resurrection of things that have passed on. With so much loss in our society be it jobs, homes, family it is hard to see the other side of our circumstances. We give up, we move on accepting the loss as "The End".  We hear about a buyer's market and see all these great deals on homes with low interest. We feel more discouraged that it can't be us. We see hope in the lives of others yet in our own we just see the loss.  But we are selling ourselves short. There is such hope out there. I have a wonderful couple who is losing their home, had a devastating physical disability to the wife, who feel as if they are losing everything. But I couldnt let that happen, its not the American way. I found a program through the USDA Rural Development that would overlook the financial crisis this injury created, who looked beyond the lack in this family but saw the greater need. A program that accepts applications and looks at the individual needs not the big FICO score forgetting that circumstances many times are the cause, not irresponsibility. When you think that you or your clients are at "the end" and there is no hope, just open your mind to the possibilities that hope can be found in your community, through governmental aid and put out that extra step to seek it for them. The reward is wonderful to see that a person with no hope, has hope because you went the extra mile.
