We are a dedicated group of animal lovers that educate the public on the topic of puppy mills and the pet store connection. We are a very active group that plans many events and demonstrations at local pet stores throughout the Milwaukee and surrounding areas that sell puppies and companion animals. We pass out literature and demonstrate at places like PuppyWorld, PetLand, and other retail chains that use Puppy Mills and "Private Breeders" AKA "backyard breeders" to sell to the unsuspecting public.

We promote adoption through local shelters, rescues, and humane societies. We collect information on consumer complaints and USDA inspections of breeder facilities selling to these pet stores. We are dedicated to ending the suffering of the dogs in the mills spending their entire lives breeding heat after heat with little or no veterinary care.

These animals suffer endlessly for the greed of human profit and we would like to see this end. We welcome anyone who cares about the well-being of these animals to join our group. We would like to invite any new members that are located in WISCONSIN to help with our efforts.

Hi Kristen-This is such a heartbreaking sight to see. I just can't fathom doing something so cruel and inhumane to defenseless babies. People that do this should be hung and whipped and that is mild punishment. I hope you have had a great day. I hope your march on Sat is a productive one.

Kristin,you go girlfriend! When I did humane work I occassionally saw the inside of the cooler at our shelter. The sight and smell is indescribable. Right now our county is going through the process of becoming "no kill." Its about time! Please post an after blog of the protest.
