I work for a Brokerage that I believe is the biggest in our county. Now, keep in mind, I have told you before we are rural or some would even say " we're from the sticks". Although, I would venture to say I have seen more "from the sticks" in other parts of Georgia than where I am from. Getting back to the main portion of this post. Even though I am not a "big time city girl" or with a "big name company"...I still think how you carry yourself and do your job is IMPORTANT. I also think if you are "big enough" to be a TEAM you should know what the right hand is doing or vice versa. On this particular closing, I have dealt with listing agent #2 and three other people on the team. I have resent paperwork, more than once, because "right hand" did not know "left hand" had received! (Wrote a previous blog about how I felt we were "steered" into going with the financing company...same deal). So, we were suppose to close yesterday and now they are saying in about 2 weeks.
Counting on a closing that is now in extension mode and trying to pick myself up out of my "low" and for some reason the story of David and Goliath came to my mind.
You remember the part where he approached that big ol guy, Goliath and his words were "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head."
RELAX...I am not going to cut off anybody's head (although tempting)! Just a way to remind myself who ACTUALLY is in control. Putting the "me" on the back burner and my GOD on the front!
