What is Important?

A woman called my office. She said, "I am looking for a house, Not an agent".  She then went on to explain that another agent, whom had showed her one house, called and chewed her out because she had gone to another agent to see another home.  Thus, the appearance of one "not so friendly" would-be client.  After showing her a few homes and gaining her trust I learned of the mass in her left lung.  And I also learned what things were now important to her... i.e., spending time with her friends.  As she is on a very limited income and with a very shaky future ahead of her, she is becoming keenly aware of those things that are truly important.  Will I sell her a house.... maybe, maybe not.... if so it would not be much as she is on a very limited income.  As she sat in my office today she disclosed how much I had helped her by just giving her of my time and understanding her circumstances.
