Real Estate Agent with DISCOVER TEXAS HOMES
Movies in the Park are back for 2007 in Old Settlers Park at the Virg Rabb Pavilion 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664.

Every Friday night come out to Round Rock's Old Settlers Park for a movie presented by Time Warner Cable. All movies will be presented at the Virg Rabb Pavilion. The evening festivities will begin 8 pm with movie trivia hosted by Time Warner Cable. Once it gets dark enough, the movie will begin. You need to  arrive before dark to get a spot and to be ready for the show. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, and the family for this free night of fun. There are concessions available or bring your own.

This is an opprutunity for familys or even dates to come out and watch a movie for free.

Hi Danny,

Movies in the park, we do that too in our little piece of Orange County. I especially like something like this that's free for families to enjoy together.

I was just reading the other day about doing the same thing at the beach in Newport. That's sounded great to me.

We used to have concerts in the park when we lived in Mercer Island Washington. Always a lot of fun.

Lynda, it's even better than the days of the outdoor theatre! I'd rather sit on a blanket on the lawn.

Bob & Carolin, we have concerts in the park also.

Danny, I like that, it is a great idea.  We have out door concerts around here but I have not heard of any out door movies like this.  It sounds like a great evening of fun for the family.

George, the kids can run around and the movie is free so are the concessions if you take your own. All in all a full night of entertainment for nothing.

Danny,
A couple of town in this area have started doing this and I think it is a great idea!  It is a free family activity and something different.  You are right though, do not leave home without the bug spray or skeeters will get you.

Danny, this reminds me of the old drive in movies that we had when I was a kid!!!  Quite a bit of fun to be had and at a low cost!  Families really can use this.
