PATUXENT RIVER NAVAL AIR MUSEUM
This museum is the nation's only museum dedicated to naval aviation research, development, testing, and evaluation. Exhibits include the 'Iron Maiden', the rubber airplane, the unmanned 'Pioneer', and 17 pieces of aircraft.
The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is located at Pegg Rd. and Route 235, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Adjacent to Gate 1 at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River.
The Museum is open 10 am - 5 pm, Tuesday-Sunday, closed Mondays.
Admission & parking are free.
The Museum is wheelchair accessible and has a Gift Shop.
