The Media Contacted Us!

It is pretty common for us to get these kinds of calls, but it has taken a long time to get here.  Part of the marketing of our business includes media relations such as press releases at least once a month, having our main press contacts on our general mailing list and inviting media to all of our events such as company parties and even open houses.  You never know what they will find interesting or what story they need industry background information on.

Many times.  Many times.

Their deadline is ALWAYS short.

Far too often they want to use one of our clients in their articles.  I don't cooperate with that.

I do give them states, market info, etc.  I rarely get notice of the article or follow up from them.

I think it's a good thing. I was quoted in the Washington Post last year.

Larry and Sheila, looks like a good way to get a little publicity. I've submitted Press Releases in the past and you never know when one is published. We did have one turn into a featured article once. Good job!

I had an article written in the Wisconsin state journal and that reporter sent me copies of the article. I rather liked the whole thing. I do get calls from some that have a way of twisting the conversation a bit.
