I was just about to comment on that dormer addition they put on the cape and how much it would expand the upstairs when I saw in your description that it's a rancher. Now I can't picture the original house at all... maybe Levitt built different models there than in Maryland. Well, it does look like prices are on a par with the Levvitt homes in Belair at Bowie. Both the cape and the rancher would run about this price range here if they had any addition.

The Levit "Ranches" are actually capes just laid out differently. They all started out with one level for living space and on the second was used as attic space. Then most people finished them off - dormering & expanding. There were 8 basic models - now they are all different.
