I recently had an encounter with a friend who told me that he had returned a lawn chair he had ordered some eighteen plus years ago.
He had ordered the chair from LL Bean...he found it as he was "sorting" stuff in the garage. Well, I might have sorted some time in the interim, but that aside, he returned it in the original box, and lo, and behold, they honored the request for a credit on his account.
Now, I have ordered many items from LL Bean, and knowing they will stand behind their product means a great deal to me. But, this takes the cake, as they say. Eighteen plus years????!!!!! Unbelievable.
I love to pride our brokerage on its customer service, and I stress that to our clients. However, I have a new golden standard of excellence to strive to. You would be wise to take those words to heart. Clients are the lifeblood of your business, and we have had five listings in the last three weeks to attest to that. Nice homes....nice clients and we expect some new nice clients from these listings. See how it works? Do right, and right will be done to you.
