Activerain is a great site to learn a lot about a lot including Social Marketing and being a Rainmaker helps immensely.
However , nothing will ever take the place of personal one on one face to face contact .
I have done social marketinG until blue in the face or my eyeballs popped out at all hours of the day and nite on over 100 different popular sites.
Still nothing takes the place of putting your FOR SALE signs all over town with your name and URL on it -thus listings is still the name of the game.
If you are good , and the public knows it ,you will not have to discount your fees and as a matter of fact -in 2010 YOU MAY BE ABLE TO INCREASE YOUR FEES.
