Help me think of a good name for this new venture

Hi Everybody-In 2010 two friends of mine that I met while working these past 3.5 months and I are planning on starting a "NO -KILL" animal sanctuary. Besides domestic animals it would also eventually include bigger animals like horses, elephants etc. We are getting together on Friday for dinner. We originally were going to start out on a big scale but decided to start out small instead and with word of mouth and learning as we go then we can expand as we are able.

Now one of the things we really want to make a decision on when we have our first monthly meeting of 2010 is what to name our new business so that we could start making marketing pieces including business cards as well as just start getting our name out there. Now I know that a number of my readers are BIG animal lovers but also very smart too, so I am asking everybody to give their suggestion of a good name we could call this new business. I will be taking any and all suggestions to our Friday night dinner meeting. Thank you in advance for your input. <warm SMILE>

Our non-profit rescue is called Pet Agree Rescue, we would call our shelter that.

Sharon, first of all BLESS you and your wonderful friends for doing such a great thing for our beloved furbabies. I like the Gimme Shelter name. I think you need to really capitalize on the fact that you are NO KILL, and use this in the name. FurBaby's Forever Home, A No Kill Animal Sanctuary. Sorry, not many name ideas, but I will keep at it! Let us know how it goes! How is your kitty Lindsey right?

Hi Kristin-You my friend and Toula are two great roles models when it comes to BIG hearts for animals. My friend Chris Ann Cleland is as well. If you haven't read any of her blogs you would like her. I appreciate your input and will keep everyone posted. Yes, it is Lindsey. I had to take her to the vet as she is still having trouble with diarrhea. They gave her another shot of predisone but probably will need bloodwork to make sure nothing else is going on. Got a prescription diet for her that is $60 a bag. OUCH!!!! Happy New Year my friend. <SMILE>
