SOUTHERN MD ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS PUBLIC AWARENESS MEETING
On January 6, 2010 I participated in the meeting of SMAR's Public Awareness Committee.
The Purpose of this committee is to foster a proactive relationship with the local news media, the SMAR membership, the Board of Directors and various Committees to promote the activities of SMAR and its members.
The Committee seeks to be the voice of SMAR to consumers, regarding issues that most affect homeowners and others interested in real estate, and a source of information to the consumers that we serve.
Additionally, the Committee seeks to increase public awareness regarding the benefits of using a REALTOR and to increase member awareness regarding the benefits of belonging to SMAR.
The committee members brainstormed activities that would accomplish these goals. We look forward to being an active group benefitting both consumers and members.
We invite member suggestions, or participation in monthly meetings. The next meeting will be on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at the SMAR building in Hughesville, MD
We would appreciate suggestions, from other Realtors, that would help us achieve these goals.
