Excerpt from Reuters Friday Jan 15th

WASHINGTON — As many as 80 million Americans have been infected with H1N1 swine flu, with as many as 16,000 deaths and more than 360,000 hospitalizations, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday.

And only about 62 million Americans have been vaccinated, even though more than 130 million doses of vaccine were made available and 160 million were told they were at high priority for getting the vaccine.

No thanks on that vaccine.  I eat healthy, take herbal things to boost my immunity, but I don't like drugs.  And while I know they are estimating those numbers, fact is they didn't test those 16,000 death count to confirm they actually had H1N1 and sumized and estimated.  That means wild ass guess to me and I feel it's quite over stated.

    Tammy,

I am with you BUT provide the information to those who think differently...

Every time I go to CVS or Walgreen's there is a line (mostly seniors) waiting to get the vaccine....

We all had it in my household and it wasn't any worse than the yearly flu.  Don't know what all the fuss was about either, except it gave the cable news stations something new to scare us about!

Linda Mae, according to the CDC an estimated 32,000 people die each year from the seasonal flu.  H1N1 has a long way to go to catch up.  I think the WHO, the vaccine manufacturers, and Donald Rumsfelds interest in the company that manufactures tamiflu have hood winked all of us.

All kinds of conspiracies out there about H1N1.  Most are bunk.  Later on I will post a list of about a dozen of them.

Terry: Who knows about the number of deaths from H1N1.  They stopped trying to keep count when they got to 1,000 (long ago).  Why?  Another conspiracy theory.

All I know is I wasn't able to get to it because none of the doctors were able to.  BUT Wal-Mart had it!!  Now there is a glut of vaccine.  Someone explain THAT to me.

Tammy, sorry about the Chargers.  They looked sick.  Maybe they didn't get their shots.

Linda, You had better take down  that diagram of symptoms.  All the hypos out there are going to say, "That's me.  I have had H1N1 all my life and didn't know it."
