I am a Realtor who really understands the appeal of Tech Terrace and other 'mature' neighborhoods such as Rush and Overton. Many of my colleagues don't get it, can't understand why anyone would pay as much for an OLD home as they would a new house. Having lived on the corner of 22nd and Hartford for 5 years, I know the neighborhood. I have friends there who I stay in contact with. I miss our 22nd Street house. Tech Terrace is an awesome neighborhood and we really enjoyed renovating our bungalow. Though we have moved on, it is still in my top three neighborhoods in Lubbock.
I recently had the privilege of showing the home at 3009 19th Street. What a grand home in near immaculate condition. This Tudor Revival style home was built in 1939 and is just across the street from Texas Tech University.
