The average listing price was $235,817 and the average price of homes sold in February was $190,801, virtually unchanged from January. The average Days-on-Market(DOM) for a home was 121. The chart below show the average sold price for homes in King William County, Va since 2008. As expected prices have steadily dropped through 2008 and 2009. However we are seeing a reversal of the that trend in late 2009 and into 2010. This is evident by the sales line crossing over the long term trend line in December 2009. The average sales price dropped slightly in February but the trend held. We expect March and April sales to be strong.
