We are fortunate, in Tacoma, WA, to have some wonderful museums. One of my favorites is the Museum of Glass and yesterday my husband and I took our 7-year-old granddaughter to see the current exhibits. We watched the people working on new glass projects in the hot shop, and how fascinating it was to see them work on the glass, put it in the furnace and work it into a beautiful art object. There is a link on the website to allow you to watch them work in the hot shop live. If you live anywhere near Tacoma, I would highly recommend a visit to this museum.
