Much has been in the news lately about how the market in various parts of the country has seen some drastic changes. In the Lincoln County area the market has been slow but steady with it being neither a seller's market nor a buyer's market. The average price of homes have ranged from $255,400 to $270,100 and I project that prices will increase over time. During January and February approximately 95 jobs have been created with an increase in the number of job seekers, particularly from families moving from other parts of the country. With the unemployment rate holding at 5% coupled with historically low mortgage rates the market should continue moving.
