A Hot Amenity for a Ski Condo

Hot Tubs are a Hot Amenity to look for when buying your vacation ski condo

After a long day on the ski slopes, it sure feels wonderful to relax your aching muscles in a warm bubbling hot tub.  So when looking at ski condos for sale, make sure they offer a hot tub whether it is a shared community hot tub for the project or even better yet a private hot tub on the deck.

Not all ski condo projects have private or shared hot tubs.  I believe a hot tub will not only bring you great enjoyment but it will also be a great asset for resale.  Many vacation ski condo owners like to place their condo in a nightly rental pool for extra income to help offset costs.  The hot tub can be a strong selling point when renting out your ski condo in a nightly rental pool.  A private hot tub is even better.  I recently spoke with a local property management company representative in Park City Utah that indicated a hot tub at a condo may even bring an extra $50 per night.

Visit Park City Utah Real Estate to search for ski condos & ski homes for sale in the popular Park City ski community which is one of the easiest ski towns to fly to.

Hi Julie, in our part of Colorado, if someone tells me that they want to rent their condo, I don't even suggest any condos that don't have access to a hot tub.  They just don't bring in the rental income that the one with a hot tub does.  Good post!

Joanne: Thanks for your comment.  I just was working with a client to find the most ideal ski condo in his price range and this was a key amenity we were searching for besides a short walk to the ski lifts so I thought I would post on the topic.  It was amazing how many condos didn't have access to a hot tub.
