Education is the KEY and everyone knows it!!

I have just returned from a 3 day event in Lancaster PA where the Mid Atlantic Hearth Patio and Barbeque Assocition heald their annual meeting. 

I was fortunate enough to be on the speaker agenda for the third straight year.  I was so excited during my 3 sessions to see so many people absorbing information, learning new things, asking great questions and really making the most of their opportunities.

Its refreshing to know that education is still important.  I mean in a bad economy, the group still drew 100 more people than it ever has in the past.  This speaks to the quality of the event as well as the attention to detail given to the membership by the Board of Directors and Staff.

There was a refreshed enthusiasm, an eagerness for more and a real desire to have more education.  the message has been delivered, there is need for Hearth and Chimney education and the times have changed. 

Great job MAHPBA staff, Board and membership.  What a terrific event!!
