Living only minutes from the Birkdale Golf Course allows me to play on such a great course without the travel time. The Arnold Palmer designed Birkdale golf course, is a public facility with a "private club" atmosphere.
Birkdale has also received a good deal of acclaim, being voted one of the top five public golf courses in North Carolina. When it opened in 1997 it was voted The Best New Golf Course in North Carolina and was named Charlotte's Best Public Course in 1998.

It is only 20 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, walking distance to Birkdale Village, and has tremendous amenities, including a junior olympic pool, tennis courts, multi-purpose fields, beach volleyball and more.
Homes on the golf course can price from in the $400's to over $700's. However, homes that are not on the course have a average selling point around $365,000. An average of around $125/ft. That is based on homes sold since January 1, 2010.
