Huntersville, NC Area 9/5

The Charlotte Multiple Listing Service or CMLS divides areas around Mecklenburg and surrounding counties into areas and subareas to help Real Estate agents search for homes for their clients.  Uptown Charlotte is Area 99 and is divided into subareas 1-4 and surrounding inside I-277 are the areas 1-9 that are in pie shapes to create a circle around Mecklenburg county.  Area 1 is in line with I-77 on the east side in a pie shape and areas continue on around clockwise to Area 9 which borders the west side of I-77.   Sub areas start at the tip of the pie and generally each area has about 5-7 sub areas.  Each sub area is generally divided by major roads.  Huntersville, NC contains area 9/4, 9/5, and 1/6.

Huntersville, NC area 9/5 borders the west side of I-77, south side is Hambright rd, west side borders Mountain Island Lake and North side borders Hwy 73 or Sam Furr rd.  Students in public school who live in area 9/5,  attend Barnette Elementary or Torrence Creek Elementary, Bradley Middle School and Hopewell High School.
